Since 18th December 2019, Nemo Link has been offering its dynamic overload facility of 20MW in the direction from BE to GB for a period of 5 hours each day.
This notice is to inform the market that from 22nd April 2026, Nemo Link can start offering this dynamic overload facility of 20MW for 5 hours each day in either direction from GB to BE or BE to GB.
This means the Maximum Physical Transfer Capacity (MPTC) of the interconnector at mid-channel reference point will be 1032MW for a maximum period of 5 hours per day in both directions.
Subject to day-ahead capacity calculation process, market participants will see Nemo Link’s unrestricted Day Ahead Net Transfer Capacity (DA NTC) of 1032MW for the hours specified in the table below in the Day Ahead auction on 21st April 2026 for delivery 22nd April 2026. Any unallocated capacity will flow through the ID auctions, subject to further capacity calculation process.
Effective from delivery 22/04/2026 until further notice
Any changes to the overload facility default window will be communicated to the market via Nemo Link’s website.
